AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. “WATCHDOGS” [07:24]
Following the emotional spy’s farewell to Mockingbird And Hunter last week, Agents Haley and Lauren are joined this week by GonnaGeek owner Stephen Jondrew to run down this week’s recovery episode Watchdogs. Mack is front and center this week with personal and professional life conflict and also finally wields his SHOTGUN-AXE as the viewer discovers that weapons do bring families together. The Agents definitely need more Mack in their lives. But this episode wasn’t all about Mack. The Viewer is also threated to Daisy’s development and her relationships with Coulson and Lincoln. Daisy is truly a different person than Skye was. Daisy is more Jack Bauer rogue now and making decisions that are not necessarily for the good of S.H.I.E.L.D.. Lauren wonders when exactly did Skye become this completely different person Daisy. Fitz has some issues with this and in fact the entire cast seems to be rebuilding and re-finding their place on the team following the departure of the two agents last week. May and Simmons have moments over their emotional journeys. And Agent Blake and Lincoln had an interesting episode as well. In other points, it is definitely Marvel movie time as the MCU references are raining as we are now just weeks away from Civil War. Nitramine was a great plot callback to Agent Carter (#itsAllConnected). But Agent Lauren warns DO NOT SPRAY LIQUID NITROGEN AT PEOPLE! SCIENCE DOES NOT WORK LIKE THIS! The episode discussion ends as always with Haley dropping the good episode quotes.
