‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ Trailer: NYC’s Hometown Hero Takes On Europe
In the just-released trailer for the Sony/Columbia Pictures summer release Spider-Man: Far From Home, the superhero mostly closely associated with New York City finds himself a long way from the friendly neighborhoods of his native Queens. As Peter Parker (Tom Holland) gets ready for a much-needed European vacation he doesn’t even bother to pack his Spider-Man costume. But his travel plans (and romantic aspirations) are derailed in Venice by the gruff spymaster Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), who recruits the young American visitor to help defeat the mysterious threat presented by a group of elemental creatures. Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters on July 5.

MARVEL STUDIOS' Kevin Feige Receives Prestigious Producer Honor At The PGA Awards
On January 19th, Kevin Feige, who started his career as an errand boy for Richard Donner, received the prestigious David O. Sleznick Award. Considered as one of the highest honors in Hollywood, the Sleznick Award is one of the biggest achievements a producer can earn. Presented to him at the Producer's Guild Awards by the one and only Robert Downey Jr., Feige emphasized the power of cinema and superheroes in his acceptance address. "People can lump [Marvel films] as 'superhero movies' or 'comic book movies' but to us they're movies." Previous honorees have included DC's Charles Roven and Lucasfilm's Kathleen Kennedy.
