Disney And Fox Shareholders Give Historic Merger Votes Of Approval – Update
Disney and 21st Century Fox shareholders overwhelmingly approved the merger first proposed last December.The pending $71.3 billion deal still has to pass through some regulatory hoops, but one of the most consequential reviews was completed a few weeks ago, when the Department of Justice reached a settlement with Disney. Provided that Fox’s collection of regional sports networks is divested, the antitrust division of the DOJ — the same outfit that continues to target AT&T’s Time Warner merger — said the Disney-Fox deal can proceed.

The AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Cast Fought To Have Jeff Ward Play Deke, Saving The Star From Being Killed Off
During a recent interview with the cast of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Ward revealed that he was originally set to play Virgil, a character that gets killed off in the first episode of Season 5. He even took part in a table read as Virgil, which prompted his castmates to take action. At the end of the table read, the cast went to their bosses and said, ‘He’s got to be Deke, he’s so amazing, we can’t lose him after one episode.’

The trailer depicts a flashback to a bloody battle between Danny Rand and Davos as they battle for the right to face Shou-Lao the Undying. Both of them are decked out in a classic Iron Fist costume as well (it looks great).

The deleted scene takes place shortly after the Guardians lost Gamora (Zoe Saldana) to Thanos (Josh Brolin) on Knowhere as Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Drax (Dave Bautista), and Mantis (Pom Klementieff) try to determine their next move. It is a little too light-hearted in nature, so it makes sense why the scene was ultimately cut, but it's still interesting little moment between the three characters and helps explain how they linked up with Nebula on Titan.
