- Michaela Coel is set to join the cast of Marvel’s Black
Panther: Wakanda Forever.
- She joins Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston
Duke, Lupita Nyong’o, Florence Kasumba and Angela Bassett who will
likely reprise their roles from the original film.
- Ryan Coogler returns as director.
- Production is currently underway in Atlanta.
- Plot details as well as who Coel is playing are being kept
under wraps. The film is set to bow on July 8, 2022.

- Black Widow earned the most in an opening weekend since before
the pandemic
- In December 2019 Star Wars Rise Of The Skywalker earned $177
million domestically and $373 million worldwide
- This past weekend in July 2021 Black Widow earned $80 Million
domestically and $78.8 million non domestically for a $158.8
million worldwide total
- ADDITIONALLY, Black Widow reportedly earned at least $60M on
Disney+ revenue
- Disney+ customers had to pay an additional $30 per account to
watch the film
- The announcement was the first ever to include Premium Video On
Demand or PVOD with the opening weekend numbers in the industry.
- Several weeks after opening NBCUniversal stated that Trolls2
had earned a total of $100 million in PVO in the spring of
2020
- Disney did not previous include the PVOD numbers with releases
Mulan or Raya and the Last dragons

Deadline that she is “not returning” for Season 2, adding, “I
always planned to be just on for [Season 1]. And to be honest,

I’m so excited. I’m really happy to watch it as a fan next season,
but I just think I’m proud of what we did here and I’ve given it my
all. I’m working on some other stuff yet to be announced.”
