AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. EPISODE "Maveth" [04:52]

As Marvel reached the mid-season finale for the Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s third season, the Agents of Legends Of S.H.I.E.L.D. give their take on the riveting episode. From the Coulson chest crunch of Ward to Will and Ward being possessed by Death, interstellar wormhole (i.e. Stargate) travel there is plenty to talk about! Choices were made in the episode that everyone will have to live with the consequences. Coulson’s decision to kill Ward, Fitz’s decision to kill Will by burning him with a flare gun shot, and Simmons decision to release Lash are bound to have far reaching effects. The Agents wonder just what happen in the “Gate Room,” analyze S.H.I.E.L.D. personnel actions including Director Mack’s actions, give their predictions on how Death will effect Ward’s body, and wonder about the 9 cities on the planet. The Agents decide not to mourn Team “SG Evil,” enjoy the special effects on the screen, chuckle at Coulson’s Star Wars reference, and predict how long H.Y.D.R.A.’s Malick will actually live. The hugs! Finally! Shippers have fun!

Episode Transcripts:

As rough as Jessica Jones is for many to watch, the Legends Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents rewatch the first episode this week. Upon the second watch the Agents agree that there is a lot more to the episode than the viewer can grasp the first time through. There are plenty of moments of levity too once the viewer knows everything to look for as well. Two words: “Laser Eyes.” The episode does a wonderful job as portraying a realistic victim narrative in fiction – probably the best that we have ever seen – and ways people use to cope with abuse. The episode also holds the keys to several Marvel firsts including Marvel’s first sex scene and Marvel’s first same sex couple. At the same time the series stays true to the comics including the man being thrown through Jessica’s office/apartment door. The Agents also comment on the horror aspect of the series which is readily apparent when Hope tells Jessica to “smile.” Chilling. In the end Jessica decides to confront her trauma and do something about Kilgrave – the center of the chaos for many in the series. Oh – and Agent Lauren does taxidermy AND knows multiple languages. Our very own Supervillain Lab Rat is indeed very talented.

FEEDBACK [57:44]

You though about Deep Impact regarding something about destroying the eastcoast like the tidal wave or so..

Okay I respect if you had a cutoff date for all entries. Since only American pre-sale numbers are out, or have I missed sth., I thought worldwide you could still modify your guess.

Dec 8

Since Boxofficemojo displays it nicely how about estimating the percentage of Worldwide to USA revenues? Since I think it will be less than 50 % for your country.

Awesome, thanks man! Did you see last night's episode?

12h12 hours ago

Yes I did!

12h12 hours ago

OMG! Did NOT see that coming. Not after Coulson killed him.

12h12 hours ago

I called it last week

12h12 hours ago

Yeah, but then he died so I figured that was that. Wrong!

12h12 hours ago

Lol. Nope. The green slug gave it away

12h12 hours ago

Yeah, true. Who would have thought that the ultimate Inhuman would be a glowing brain slug?

12h12 hours ago

How else could have it survived all these Millenia?

12h12 hours ago

Going from host, to host, to host. But if Glowy the brain slug inhabits corpses how does it have their memories?
